We hold a zazenkai once a month on the last Sunday of the Month. A zazenkai is an extended sitting and walking meditation session. It typically includes:
Multiple periods of zazen (seated meditation) with short kinhin (walking meditation) breaks
Brief chanting or bows at the start and end
A short talk (dharma or instruction) by a teacher or senior practitioner
Silence or quiet atmosphere to deepen concentration and awareness
Lunch is eaten in Ōryōki style and must be brought by those attending.
Please use the contact form if you wish to attend or if you have any further questions.
